Abstract
Two-dimensional (2D) materials and their heterostructures are becoming fantastic platforms to explore new material physics and applications in a wide range of frontiers. In this talk, I will introduce some key ideas that drive the development of the field, with major milestones discussed. I will also present several emerging and exciting frontiers in 2D materials.
