Thinking big in a small company - as a scientist in a small-sized family business<i></i>

AHF analysentechnik AG is a family business that exists for almost 40 years and now has around 20 employees. The company started as an engineering office for custom-made products in the field of plasma emissions. Over the years, other business areas have been added. In parallel to the sale of laboratory equipment, we also advance our own product developments. Due to the flat hierarchy and the open atmosphere, there is a lot of freedom to develop and contribute. In my talk I will deal with the special aspects of a small company that is close to research and the needs of laboratory users. In addition, I will report about my career start and my work environment at AHF analysentechnik AG, as well as give an insight into my work as a developer there.
