The aim of this scientific module is to introduce the theoretical concept of X-ray diffraction and provide some hands-on experience.
Contents
- 2x 45 minutes of lecture (basic principles of scattering theory, technical aspects as well as an overview of possible measurements with our equipment)
- Half a day lab course (two persons each) at the Bruker D8, including a tutorial on data analysis and interpretation
Terms
Dates: The lectures Introduction to X-Ray Diffraction of Nanostructures by Holger Meyerheim will take place on Tuesday, November 28 and Thursday, November 30 9.15-10.00 in our lecture hall. The lab courses will take place on December 11 and 13 (9-12 or 13-16).
