IMPRS scientific module Top-down nanofabrication
The Top-down nanofabrication course at the Max Planck Institute engaged 16 PhD students in active learning and collaboration, guided by experts Prof. Dr. Niels Tas and Erwin Berenschot from Twente University.
The scientific course Top-down nanofabrication took place December 6-7 in the Max Planck Institute of Microstructure Physics and provided 16 PhD students from the NISE department with valuable insights into the field of nanofabrication. The course was structured to promote active participation, with students not only attending lectures but also presenting their own projects and conceptual work in small groups. IMPRS-PI Prof. Dr. Niels Tas and his colleague Erwin Berenschot from Twente University provided expert guidance throughout the course. They were instrumental in advising the students during the group work, ensuring a rich and productive learning experience. The workshop served as a platform for the exchange of ideas and fostered a spirit of collaboration among the next generation of scientists.
