Sagar Gambhira

Atomically Engineering Composite systems for Spintronic and Quantum Device Applications: The research aims to design and investigate novel composite materials tailored for next-generation superconducting spintronics and quantum device applications. Using high-precision magnetron sputtering, we grow thin-film heterostructures with atomic-level control, enabling tunable electronic and magnetic properties. These films are systematically characterized to understand their magnetic properties and structural qualities. Subsequently, they are micro-patterned into device architectures, allowing us to probe electron transport behaviors at cryogenic temperatures. By exploring emergent phenomena at the intersection of superconductivity and magnetism, our work contributes to the development of energy-efficient cryogenic memory and logic devices — paving the way for scalable quantum and spintronic technologies.
