Biography

See-Hun Yang is a Staff Research Scientist in IBM Research – Almaden. He used to work for Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Max Planck Institute of Microstructure Physics. His research interests are various spintronic devices and systems such as spin-transfer torque and spin-orbit torque devices, magnetic tunnel junctions, and magnetic domain wall devices. Recently, he has focused on chiral spintronics and chiral systems with which he hopes to create new forms of powerful devices for future viable technologies by utilizing emerging interactions of spins with chiralities.
