German-Ukrainian Research Cooperation Moves Forward at “Plasma-Spin-Energy” Workshop

December 12, 2025

“Plasma-Spin-Energy” project workshop held on November 20–21, 2025 in the Max Plank Institute of Microstructure Physics in Halle (Saale).

Despite the ongoing challenges in Ukraine, the Core of Excellence (CoE) “Plasma-Spin-Energy” continues to demonstrate strong scientific commitment and steady progress. On 20–21 November, a hybrid-format workshop was held at the Max Planck Institute of Microstructure Physics, during which the CoE team presented its latest research advancements.

The event brought together CoE team members and colleagues from V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, the National Science Center “Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology,” the Max Planck Institute of Microstructure Physics, as well as experts from various scientific institutions working in related fields.

The workshop served as an important platform for strengthening scientific collaboration between Ukrainian and German research institutions, facilitating the exchange of results, and discussing plans for future joint projects.

We are very pleased that part of the CoE team was able to join us in person for the workshop here in Halle (Saale), despite the long and challenging journey from eastern Ukraine. It was wonderful to discuss and exchange ideas face-to-face in a warm and friendly atmosphere under the peaceful sky.

The organizers express their sincere gratitude to all participants for their active engagement and to the administration of the Max Planck Institute for their support in organizing the event.
